I am located in the US Virgin Islands. While snorkeling the other day, I came across an small area with a great concentration of fireworms (about 10 in a 3'x3' area). Also, there were two groups of two fireworms enclosed in a translucent jelly like sac. Their mouths (I think they were mouths) were wide open, something I'd never seen on fireworms before. Can anyone tell me what was going on? Jenny West
