Location: The Kiholo Bay Fisheries
Management Area shall include that portion of the submerged lands and
overlying waters of Kiholo Bay beginning at the highwater mark at the shoreline
and extending seaward out to an imaginary line drawn between a sign posted
onshore at Hou Point and a sign posted onshore at Nawaikulua Point, including
the lagoon known as Wainanali’i Pond but not including Luahinewai Pond, and
depicted in the "Map of the Kiholo Bay Fisheries Management Area, Hawaii,
4/10/96."
Permitted
- Any person issued an aquarium fish permit may use small-meshed nets
other than thrownets within the Kiholo Bay Fisheries Management Area;
provided that the person is within visual range of the net at all times.
Prohibited
- Unless otherwise allowed by law, it is unlawful
for any person to possess gillnets within the Kiholo Bay Fisheries
Management Area.
